Create and Test your TileJSON File

The TileJSON Tester will help users test existing .JSON files for in-app compatibility, or create a new .JSON file by entering text into the correct fields.

Note: You can also import custom sources directly on gaiagps.com.

After the text and image URL has been added, click the "update map" button. Navigate to the correct location where the map image should appear.

At the bottom of the page is the editable .JSON text. Copy and paste this information into a file with a .JSON extension, or click "download TileJSON".
