Using External GPS Devices With Gaia GPS for Android

Gaia GPS can use external GPS devices such as Bad Elf. This is especially useful for users that have  Wi-Fi only tablets without GPS, like certain Kindle models. An external GPS can also provide greater accuracy and frequency than the built-in GPS chip.

Overriding the Internal GPS  - Various Android devices connect to external GPS devices in different ways. When pairing your device with an external GPS, we suggest reviewing device-specific instructions.
