Overlay NEXRAD Radar Weather

Notice: We recently got notified that the weather radar provider we use shut down the service, and we will be removing it from the app soon. 

To overlay NEXRAD animated radar weather over your maps:

1. From the Layers menu , tap on "Overlays".

(iPad users have a slightly different interface, check out our iPad overview here.)

 

2. Scroll down to the NEXRAD Weather toggle and push the toggle to the right to adjust the transparency of the NEXRAD weather overlay.

If there currently is precipitation in your area, your map might now look like this:

 


With a GaiaPro subscription, you can pause and step forward/backward in the radar animation using the controls in the lower left corner.
