Choose Custom Icons for Waypoints You Create With GaiaPro

You can use custom icons for Waypoints if you subscribe to GaiaPro.
 
1. Tap on the Waypoint Icon on the Main Map screen.
 
2. Select either "Create Waypoint" or "Create Waypoint Near Me".
 
3. Tap on the Waypoint Icon in the preview screen to choose a new waypoint icon, and then select the icon you would like to use to identify your waypoint.
 
Note: You can also change an existing waypoint icon by viewing a saved waypoint, tapping "Reposition" and following step #3 from above.

    There are only 2 workable waypoints here for field use, the red or blue pins. More colors and even the ability to number a1 to z9 would be amazing.

    Agreed, Several more colors & possibly different head shapes (eg round, triangle, square, hex, 2D or 3D as you wish) would be great. Such a simple customization probably should be included in the main product.

    The other customizable waypoint icons are cute, but not so useful, as they obscure map at the target point. They would probably be fine if they were "pinheads", ie replace the blue ball at the top of the pin shaft. Just my $0.02
