Customize the Stats on the Map

1. Tap the blue arrow tab at the bottom of the map.

2. Long-press any of the currently-displayed stats to display a list of other available options.

3. Tap your selection.

    How can I change the number of stats displayed?

    Hi,

    The number of stats displayed at the bottom of the main map screen is automatically set based on the size of your device.

    Somehow I got two of the three stat areas to be "Record" buttons. Long Press on them never gives the list of available fields. Am able to change the center button OK.

    Is there a special way to change one of the Record buttons?

    Hi Art,

    I have a Galaxy S5 too.

    To get the list of available fields to appear, you'll have to press and hold in the small whitespace just below the record button. 

    Also note that this only works for the second and third stats boxes (the first will remain the record button)

    I've got an open feature request to change this on the team's Android "trello" board, but no ETA on when it will get fixed.

    OK, I'll keep trying. So far I either get the Record function or the S5 Return key. Maybe just my fat fingers...

     

    BTW I made a route online and synced it. Went OK, but always ends with "Sync Incomplete" even though it actually did sync.

    I'd been fiddling around with my phone with twenty minutes trying to get rid of the extra record button. Using my pinky to press the white space worked!

    I also want to remove the multiple "record buttons".

    I am unable to "touch" the small white space below the record button.

    Is there a workaround?

    Suggestion: present only 1 Record button, and replace the 2nd Record button with a box containing a trip statistic, that can be long pressed, to to display a list of other available options.

    Hi Tom,

    Sorry, that is the only workaround I know of at the moment. When you first install the app, there is only 1 record button present, so you could consider re-installing. Just make sure that you 'sync' your account to gaiagps.com first to save your tracks!
