To report bugs, tap "Contact Support" on our Help Center or email support@gaiagps.com

The best bug reports include this information:

  • Step-by-step instructions to reproduce the bug in the simplest possible way, starting with "open the app."
  • Tell us what device (iPhone/iPad/iPod) you are using.
  • If you can, tell us what version of iOS you are on, and what generation your device is.
  • If the app crashes, send your activity logs from the bottom of the settings menu

Send A Screenshot

For certain issues, it may be helpful to send a screenshot. To do that:

  • Hold down on the home and sleep/wake button on your iPad/iPhone at the same time.

    

  • The screen will flash and a screenshot will appear in your Photos.  
  • From your Photos you can email me the screenshot.

    Gaia is not completing track. I press record, it tracks for about 3 minutes, then stops. Any ideas why? It’s agravating to hike a couple of hours and find it only rcorded first 50 yds. It has done this last 3 hikes (2weeks).

    Hi MC,

    This was a recurring issue with some users in Gaia GPS Classic.

    We recently released a new version of Gaia GPS where this shouldn't happen anymore. It looks like you might have installed it recently. It has the app icon with the gold border.

    Can you try recording in the new version and tell me if you run into the same issue?
